Part Number:G1211

Classic 5 ice pick flower design. Deep blue with a controlled bubble in each flower set on white frit.  I have always called this a perfume bottle and held it in that part of my collection. Recently I saw someone selling this style as teardrop or tear bottle used as keepsake or portion urns such as ashes or tears, a lock of hair, a prayer, or earth from a special place shared with a loved one (such as a beach, a park, the family farm or vacation cabin).  I actually thought that would be a great use for the item if you wanted it for something other then just decorative display. This bottle was made by Gibson Art Glass in 1997. Size: About 7 inches tall to the tip of the top. 3.5 inches across at the fat part. Condition: Is excellent, near new. I see no flaws.
the Gibson Glass Company was established by Charles Gibson, who began working as a glassmaker during the 1950s, working first within the established glass companies ‘Indiana Glass’ and ‘Blenko’, amongst others. His own company opened in 1976, only to close one year later after Charles Gibson decided to change careers.

The company was reopened in 1983 by Gibson and his son Phillip. It closed again in 2006.

I have been collecting Art Glass for about 20 years. I used to live next to a large flea market and a couple big antique malls. So I would pick things up whenever I saw something that fit the collection or I thought was a good deal. I sold about 50 paperweights last summer and I am getting pushed to sell the rest as I am relocating.  Please check out my ebay store as I will be putting things up all summer. Thanks
