I collect art glass, and old decorative glass. I bought this out of an antique shop years ago. I thought it was old, It has a very fancy image of a German or Swiss style house, lodge or castle. The enameling is quite thick. I am guessing it is Bohemian maybe German. Age? Not sure going to say maybe 1880- 1920's that would be my guess. Condition: It has some scratches on it, I did not get nutty about cleaning this. The bottom of the glass has some small chips in it and there is a number faintly etched in it I think it says 695. Glass is thin makes that brittle sound when tapped of old glass. The enameling is in great shape though no issues. This is a big glass, 7.5 inches tall, 2.4 inches across at the mouth. I am guessing large ice tea glass?
I have been
collecting Art Glass for about 20 years. I used to live next to a large
flea market and a couple big antique malls. So I would pick things up
whenever I saw something that fit the collection or I thought was a good
deal. I sold about 50 paperweights last summer and I am getting pushed
to sell the rest as I am relocating. Please check out my ebay store as I
will be putting things up all summer. Thanks
